Membership of ICOMOS NZ

The members of ICOMOS New Zealand cover a wide range of professional disciplines concerned with the management and protection of cultural heritage property and include archaeologists, conservation architects, building archaeologists, landscape architects, planners, historians, heritage property managers and heritage administrators. They include staff from government agencies, NGOs, local authorities and the private sector, independent consultants, and people who contribute to heritage conservation in a voluntary capacity.
- Individual Membership of ICOMOS is open to any individual or organisation professionally involved in the conservation of New Zealand's cultural heritage of places, within the terms of the New Zealand Charter.
- Institutional Membership is available to institutions involved in the conservation of New Zealand's cultural heritage, within the terms of the New Zealand Charter.
- Sustaining Membership is available to people who support the aims and the work of ICOMOS but who are not professionally involved in conservation.
- Affiliate Membership is available to students and others who are, have been or are intending to be involved in conservation and who wish to support ICOMOS and receive the newsletter, while not taking part in the professional activities of the organisation.
