Advocacy & Communications

This committee focuses on communications both internally and externally such as the newsletter, website and social media.

Education & Professional Development

This committee focuses on providing ICOMOS members with training opportunities and CPD applicable to heritage and conservation.

Heritage@Risk

This committee focuses on preparing reports to identify threatened heritage places, monuments, and sites, and recommend suggestions for solving threats to our cultural heritage in Aotearoa.

Legislation & Policy

This committee focuses on responding to government policy and legislation and advocating for heritage within these frameworks.

Tautiaki Maori Heritage

This committee focuses on advocating for the identification and protection of Māori sites of significance and ensuring that our taonga are protected for future generations.

Membership & Ethics

This committee focuses on effective management of ICOMOS membership processes and responding to ethics related issues, including breaches of the ICOMOS code of ethics.
